Step 5: 3 Tips to Keep Your Belongings Safe

Always keep your memory sense in a safe place.
The memory phrase is the only proof of ownership of your crypto assets. Once expired, no one can help you get your assets back. Not even the SafePal team. Keep the phrase in an offline and safe place, such as a safe deposit box.

Set a strong PIN code.
The PIN is used as your signature when you need to process a transaction. Avoid weak PINs such as '123456' or '666666'. Instead, try to set a complex and strong PIN.

Reset your wallet when you no longer use the device.
Don't use this device anymore? Don't forget to erase all data by resetting the wallet (settings > reset wallet). Once you have reset it, you can only restore the wallet with the memory phrase. Therefore, don't forget to make a backup of the memory phrase before resetting the wallet.
