ELLIPAL Titan 2.0 Update Manual

New in this version: V4.8.0

1. Added: EVM contract parsing and anti-tampering in transactions;
2. Optimization of the display of amounts and gas fees;
3. Fixed: XDC network address display and conversion issues;
4. Fixed other known bugs.

Check your Ellipal Cold Wallet version

1. Go to settings;
2. Select “About”;
3. View your Ellipal version.
4. The update below only applies if your version starts with Titan 2.0.

The Micro SD card must be formatted FAT32 for the update to work.

Step 1: Download the update file
Make sure to select "Save File." You can also save it directly to the SD card. If you haven't saved it directly, copy the update file to the SD card. If the update file is the only file on the SD card, the preparation is complete.
Do not rename or extract the update file. Leave it as is (Ellipal_titanplus_v3.12.1)

NOTE: For Mac OS, your browser preferences (Safari, Chrome, etc.) must be set to "stop automatically extracting downloaded zip files" to properly extract the updated file. This will only work if it's a zip file.

Mac users are advised to download the upgrade file using Chrome instead of Safari to avoid potential upgrade issues.

Step 2: Setting up the adapter for the Ellipal Titan 2.0

1. Insert the SD card into the adapter.
2. Connect the USB cable to the adapter and to a power source.

*The adapter's light should be blue to indicate the card has been read successfully. If the light is green, try a different SD card or adapter.

Note: Use a standard electrical outlet and not a laptop to protect your device from potential viruses.

Step 3: Start the update

1. On Titan, go to “Settings” > “Update”.
2. Click "Start update" and wait 3 minutes.

Note: The Titan will restart during the update. Don't worry or touch it.

Please check the following instructions again:

1. Make sure the SD card is formatted to FAT32 (allocation unit size to 32kb).
2. Make sure the SD card is empty and contains only 1 update file.
3. Make sure the SD card is fully inserted into the adapter.
4. Make sure the Titan device is charged while updating.
