Blockstream JadeLink – Air-Gapped Storage for Jade Plus

The Blockstream JadeLink is a USB-C storage stick specifically designed for use with the Blockstream Jade Plus hardware wallet. Combined with the Jade Plus’ built-in camera, JadeLink enables full air-gapped operation, without a physical or wireless connection to a computer or smartphone.

Working Completely Offline

JadeLink supports two essential functions in an isolated (air-gapped) workflow:

  • Firmware Upgrades: Easily load Blockstream-signed firmware files onto JadeLink and perform updates without having to connect your Jade to another device.
  • Transaction Signing: Store an unsigned transaction via a companion wallet (such as Sparrow or Electrum), connect JadeLink to your Jade Plus and sign the transaction completely offline.

This setup allows you to unlock your wallet, verify receiving addresses, and make transactions without ever connecting to an online system.

Important note

Although JadeLink is optimized for the Jade Plus, you can also use a standard USB stick or SD card (FAT32 formatted) for the same functionality. JadeLink is therefore not mandatory, but offers convenience and compatibility in one.
