Buy a Bitcoin miner for home
Want to take part in the Bitcoin network yourself? In this collection you will find Bitcoin miners and lottery miners for home and office: from a small Nerdminer for your desk to powerful home miners from Bitaxe, NerdQaxe, NerdQX and Canaan. All miners in this collection mine Bitcoin with the SHA-256 algorithm.
What is a Lottery Miner?
A lottery miner is a compact and energy-efficient Bitcoin miner for home use. These miners are known for their small chance (lottery) of finding a block on their own. This lets you jump into the world of mining without huge investments or high electricity costs.
Solo mining: a chance at a full block reward
With solo mining you compete directly with all other miners worldwide. If your miner finds a block, you receive the full block reward (currently 3.125 BTC) plus the transaction fees. The chance of that is small: it works like a lottery, with no guarantee of a reward.
Mining in pools
With most miners in this collection you can also mine in a mining pool: you simply enter a pool address in the settings. The NerdQX 8T and the NerdQaxe Rev7 models, for example, work with any Stratum V1 pool. For the small lottery miners, pool mining is usually not profitable: the earnings are then lower than the electricity costs. That is why they are mainly intended for solo mining.
Contribute to decentralization
With devices such as the Bitaxe Gamma 601, NerdAxe Gamma 601 and NerdQaxe++ you strengthen the decentralization of the Bitcoin network. Even though the chance of finding a block is small, your miner still plays a role in the network and contributes to its robustness.
Educational and accessible
A lottery miner is not only fun but also educational. You gain insight into how Bitcoin mining works in practice and expand your knowledge of the technology behind Bitcoin. Ideal for hobbyists, students and anyone who wants to dive deeper into the ecosystem. Many miners run on the open-source firmware AxeOS, which you configure via a web interface in your browser.

Which Bitcoin miner suits me?
- Getting to know solo mining: the Nerdminer V2 and Nerdminer V2 Solo Miner are small, quiet and use very little power.
- Your first ASIC miner: the Bitaxe Gamma 601 and NerdAxe Gamma 601 reach 1.2 TH/s at 17 to 18 W. Want it as quiet as possible? Then choose the Gamma 601 Noiseless.
- More hashrate, compact size: the Bitaxe GT801 Turbo, GT801 Max and Supra Hex 702, or a NerdQaxe++.
- As quiet as possible: the NerdQaxe++ Hydro and Hydro Rev 6.1 (below 25 dB).
- Maximum hashrate for home: the NerdQX 8T, NerdOctaxe, Bitaxe Gamma Hex 1300 or Jingle Miner Hashcard.
- Mining and heating: the Canaan Avalon Nano 3S for a small room, or the Avalon Mini 3, which gives off around 800 W of heat.
Keep the power consumption in mind: a miner usually runs day and night. At around 100 W that is about 2.4 kWh per day. Several miners also only work with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; you can read this on the product page.
