The Sparkle Intel Arc Pro B70 Blower is a professional graphics card for AI inference, engineering simulation and demanding visualisation. The card has 32 GB of GDDR6 memory and the Intel Arc Pro B70 GPU with 32 Xe-cores. This lets you run larger AI models on your own hardware, without sending your data to the cloud.

What do you use the Arc Pro B70 for?

  • AI and language models: running LLMs locally and AI inference with OpenVINO, oneAPI or Intel Extension for PyTorch.
  • Engineering and simulation: CAD, CAE and technical calculations.
  • Visualisation and media: 3D rendering with ray tracing and video with hardware AV1, HEVC and H.264 encoding.

Computing power and memory

The GPU has 32 Xe-cores, 32 ray tracing units and 256 Intel XMX engines. Together they deliver up to 367 TOPS (INT8) of AI performance. The boost clock is 2800 MHz. The 32 GB of GDDR6 memory uses a 256-bit bus with a bandwidth of 608 GB/s. According to Intel, this GPU supports ECC memory. Under Linux you can combine multiple cards for more computing power.

Virtualisation with SR-IOV

According to Sparkle, the card supports SR-IOV with up to 7 virtual GPUs. This lets you share one card across multiple virtual machines. How many virtual GPUs work in practice depends on the driver, the firmware and your virtualisation platform. Check this before you buy.

Blower cooling for crowded cases

The radial fan blows warm air directly out of the case through the rear bracket. This helps in workstations with limited airflow or with multiple GPUs side by side. The card has a metal backplate.
